Making the most of Autistic Hyperfocus

Wipe your ass with your therapy homework. The so called “experts” want to “help you” to act in a way thats convenient for others, not drive you to succeed. A person who works forty hours a week and thinks about nothing. Survival mode. They call your intensity a disorder because they are unable to interface with it. Fuck em. Your mind is a laser while most people carry flickering flashlights. You possess a weapon. Your ability to deep focus is the gun in your holster navigating the Vibe Economy inhabited by the mediocre masses of fried attention spans and shoddy work. You are a specialist in a world of generalists. This is your guide to total mental dominance. TABLE OF CONTENTS 1. THE PATRONIZING POMODORO 2. THE SOCIAL BATTERY SCAM 3. The Neurotypical Tax: Why the Modern Workplace is Hostile to us Autistics

If you listen to corporate Human Resources departments, the modern workplace is a bastion of “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” (DEI). We are told that talent is the only metric that matters, that different minds are valued, and that we are living in the golden age of accommodation. The data proves this is a lie. For us, the modern workplace is more than difficult. It’s a system of structural exclusion designed to filter us out, grind us down, and eject us. The unemployment statistics are not a “coincidental gap” they are a chasm of wasted potential and ruined lives at the hands of systemic failure and brutal human nature. UK data consistently shows that while roughly 80% of non-disabled people are employed, only about 29-30% of autistic people are in full-time work. This is the lowest employment rate of any disability group. This isn’t an accident. It is the result of a labour market built by neurotypicals, for neurotypicals, where “cultural fit” is a weaponized term used to enforce n...

How To Ask for Autism Accommodations at Work

Autistic people bring problem-solving, obsessive focus, deep expertise, creativity, and the ability to see patterns others miss. The problem is that most work environments fail us.   Survival in these places depends less on how good we are at the job, and more on whether the system is willing to bend even a little.

A Healthier Way to Mask- 4 steps

Burning out the Autistic Mask I discovered this method at my sales job one day by accident. For years I had masked using the old method of basically having an alt personality for the setting I was in. It was extremely taxing and I burnt out regularly.  But the brain is built for efficiency and survival, and one day my brain was on ‘Critically Low power mode’ after 20 sales calls with NT’s. My mask did not have the fuel to keep going but I kept pushing myself to do my job and what happened was phenomenal.

Burn the Mask

We are not burned out. We are  burned alive . By jobs that want my mind but punish my truth. By people who say “be yourself” and flinch when I do. By a world that worships normal like a god and treats autistic like a disease. I see you. Grinding your teeth through meetings. Masking every instinct until your own reflection looks foreign. Playing the role just right so you don’t get fired, dumped, excluded,  erased . I see you. Cracking jokes to make them comfortable. Pretending you didn’t notice the condescension. Choking on rage just to keep a seat at a table that was never built for you. We’ve tried it their way. We smiled when we wanted to scream. We adapted. We camouflaged. We faked being “just tired” when we were breaking apart. And what did it get us? Isolation. Misdiagnosis. Trauma wrapped in HR language. A lifetime of being “too much” for the very people who demanded our brilliance. I see you. Stimming in secret. Practicing your “phone voice.” Calculating how weird is...
